Two days ago I gave a lecture to students and staff at the University of Leiden and Naturalis Biodiversity Centre Leiden. The lecture, on the Deep Evolutionary Drivers of Cooperation (Loss), was followed by a very enjoyable discussion with Leiden’s MSc students on a variety of topics, ranging from the philosophy of comparative methods to the funding climate in evolutionary biology. My lecture slides (low-resolution, to save space), are available here.
